The team at Providence Solutions Australia is delighted announce our involvement with one of Australia’s newest state-of-the-art stadiums, Perth’s Optus Stadium. The Optus Stadium is the first ever stadium to embrace a unified, continuous computing infrastructure platform that we help design and implement.
We were selected by our partner Siemens Ltd. to engineer and deploy the unified compute IT platform. From the outset, the vision was to design a platform with built-in resilience through fault tolerance, high availability and seamless disaster recovery capabilities.
As the first hyper converged unified compute platform to host a range of diverse systems and applications together, the cutting-edge solution is set to change the face of IT infrastructure design and management in building technologies, including future large-scale public infrastructure projects.
And we’re very excited and proud to be involved in this high profile project as it is the first stadium to be built with a hyper converged unified compute platform, an all-in-one turnkey solution that provides continuous computing and high availability, as appropriate to a diverse set of systems and applications.
The super platform provides an end-to-end solution for the stadium operations. In a single platform, it contains a convergence of multiple systems, spanning video surveillance management, recording and archival, voice, data, storage, industrial monitoring (SCADA systems), HVAC, building and power management, security systems, and lift and lighting control.
